Dev Kharoud, renowned for his intense portrayals in Punjabi cinema, has captivated audiences once again with his announcement of Gandhi 3. This much-awaited threequel follows the action-packed movies Rupinder Gandhi and Rupinder Gandhi 2. The official poster has been released with a new release date.
Gandhi 3 was initially announced in November 2021, with a planned release date of September 9, 2022. However, there were no further updates until recently. The makers have now confirmed that Gandhi 3: Yarran Da Yaar will hit cinemas on August 30, 2024.
Directed by Mandeep Benipal, known for Dakuan Da Munda series and DSP Dev, Gandhi 3 is produced under Dream Reality Movies and Ravneet Chahal. The film features actress Aditi Aarya as the female lead opposite Dev Kharoud.
The first two films, Rupinder Gandhi and Rupinder Gandhi 2, were based on the life of the infamous gangster Rupinder Gandhi. Released in 2015 and 2017, respectively, both movies were major hits. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the third installment, which is now set to continue the saga on August 30, 2024.

Dev Kharoud, who also wrote Gandhi 3, shared the official poster on his social media handle, generating excitement among fans. He will reprise his role as the titular character, Gandhi. While details about the supporting cast remain under wraps, expectations are high following the success of the previous films in the series.
